STEPHEN J. DAVIS, M.D.
Dr. Stephen Davis graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He completed medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. There he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After earning his medical degree, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Arkansas’s Jones Eye Institute. He then completed fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Oregon Health and Science University’s Casey Eye Institute. He joined Arkansas Retina in 2013.
During his training, Dr. Davis received many awards, both for his teaching and research. His work was been published in many journals, including “Retina”. He has presented at many local, regional and national meetings. He is board certified in Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retina Specialists.
When not working, Dr. Davis, his wife, and four children enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and traveling.
